Founders
Marcos Mena Lucas is our co-founder, chief mentor, and head of public relations. He was born in Livingston and educated in the United States. Marcos became inspired with the idea of Wamua Wanile after working for an international youth volunteer work camp in Spain. He also got inspiration from Pablo Roberto Mejia Gonzale, a significant land rights reformer for Carribean self-sustainability. In 2008, Marcos decided to return to his birthplace to revive Livingston by forming Wamua Wanile. Marcos is a visionary mentor who inspires others in our leadership and membership to turn ideas into reality.
Henry Martinez Sanchez is our treasurer and other co-founder. He is a gifted artist, a friendly spirit, and an excellent teacher. Henry raises money and support for our cause, and he is an important asset in helping instruct our members in the elements of natural building.

Luis is a skilled and hard-working leader, a central figure in our cause.
